I have my own requirements
As the sole person doing the travel I want….
- A lite trailer that is easy to manage, not a drain on the car, not too expensive to tow
- Quick to set up and pack down
- has space to work in
- Has space to get under cover – awning
- Standup room to change
- Toilet / shower
- Secure bikes – need a 4 rack min
- Within a budget….
So I have an idea of what this looks like.
I had planned while driving many many km over Easter to build my own, but I saw a Opus Lite the other night and feel it could fit the bill.
It is lite and it goes up and down quickly and that includes the awning.
While I feel I would like to have hard walls and be protected from the weather. Do I need it… this is a compromise and I am not sure how I feel about it. I would say the cost saving outlays the compromise.
